Watched some of the match last night, have to admit it was the first time I've
seen the game played. Got a few questions, first they racked the same as a regular 9 ball game is that mandatory? Also since the 1 is at the head do you have to hit it on the break since after the break you can shoot any ball.

The balls can be racked in any order or configuration. I don't know if you have to hit the headball on the break in this or other tourneys but if you are gambling you can hit any ball on the break.
