Actually i tell everyone in the basement with me to close their ears during the break, it is really loud between 4 walls unlike in pool hall. My advice if you break a lot to wear a muff or ear plugs during break, otherwise you will be looking to have hearing aid by 55! Also, if you ears at times heart for no apparent reason it is because you were sitting or standing near someone breaks hard.
