Cue balls at the DCC?

With the current camera technology, do they still need specially colored balls?

Most pool streams today have equipment capable of bringing it to you in living color. Surely accustats is no different.

I don't know.

I could have called him but I didn't want to bother him. Thanks my good Lou:smile:
JB

PS: see ya in the one pocket I recon:angry:

I hadn't talked to him in a while anyways, so he was due :-)

And yes I will see you in the 1pocket, preferably not on the same table again.

Was it a bad table, or are you just expressing a preference not to draw such a monster at his best game?

Gideon<----suspect it is the second one

oh, no, Gideon, not JB's best game. But the occasional bank does come up at 1pocket.

John and I have drawn each other a couple of times now. I would like to lose to someone else for a change.

Correct, Lou. Sorry - for some reason I thought you'd drawn him in banks (although you clearly said otherwise). Must be Friday.

John -enough of the pool ball talk. :D we don't know each other but can you take me fishing? Saw the pics of you and Frost and your catch. I want in.

Sure can and will but it's a little to late this year unless you like ice fishin:D. Hit me up around May or June this spring and I can put ya on some big ones:wink:

John, I believe the TV table will be a Cyclop CB. But I wouldn't worry about that. You have to go deep into an event and/or be a past champion to get on the TV table.

oh. Wait a minute, coffee just kicked in...

Never mind :-)

Haha thanks Lou F. JB

I didn't read this whole thread so I may be repeating someone else's post.
The room I play in a lot got 2 sets of the Cyclops balls. From the first time I played with them I absolutely loved them! I'm no world beater, by any means, but for the first time in my 25 years of playing I actually KNOW where the cue ball is going! The reaction seems more true to me than any other ball and as far as transferring spin from CB to OB, it seems much greater. The red circle ball is slightly lighter than the object balls so deflection is greater and it seems to slide more. The Cyclops CB will go through the OB more with less deflection.
Anyway, just my opinion...
