There's so much snow that there's no where to remove and put the snow.....just send it to CA.......we need the water badly..... still no rain in the forecast for the next 10 days but today is 70 degrees ........the outlook for the next 10 days in the Central Valley is mid 60's.......and how are the rest of you faring?

Like I wrote......it's great to live in California......at least in the winter months.

Did you hear that the 9th circuit court actually ruled that California's CCW stringency is unconstitutional? I'm just waiting for it to be finalized and I'm applying for my Cali CCW...

Jaden

things may be looking up for cali after all...besides the year round good weather...

I'm in Santa Cruz and it's raining here, thank goodness. I've been getting really worried.

The Santa Barbar/Ventura weather is the best year round weather in the CONUS. I keep telling myself "move and live cheaper". But the weather always stops me.

Nw Ohio....ponds freezing over already, couple inches of snow on the ground. I love this stuff! Tuning up the snowmobile! Ready for ice fishing!

Jaden....CCW are EZ

Jaden,

I've had my CA CCW for 24 years and my Utah non-resident CCW permit for 4yrs. The Utah permit was a no-brainer since I already possess a CCW in CA.
For the past 3-4 yrs, CA police jurisdictions are approving permits left & right without a justification to carry...that's right.....as long as you're not a felon and can pass a thorough background check, you can carry......the exception is the City of San Francisco.......and the ban there is being challenged in the courts because they will not honor CCW licenses already issued that are valid anywhere in CA.......so that's in the hands of the courts.......but CCW permit issuance, over a dozen of my pals have gotten their licenses in the past 18 mths and prior to that, not one of them could get approved because they had previously tried but were turned down for insufficient justification.

p.s. My favorite carry is a Para P12 (aluminum frame) 45 cal......with a loaded mag of 12 rounds of 230 grain Hydrashok ammo.
My pistols are all pre-Brady so the mags hold more than 10 shots. It's totally legal & permissible.....another example is the Beretta F92 I also carry with a loaded mag of 15 rds.

When I was trucking there was a joke abvout place you hated to be in winter. North Pole, South Pole, and Truckee CA.

Warm, sunny weather everyday only means you would die if someone else wasn't sharing their water. ;)

We're getting some needed rain today. It's gotten a little chilly some nights but definitely more tolerable than where I grew up in VA.

That's what I'm saying, man. I couldn't be happier it's rained all day. We've had "SoCal weather" up here for a couple years now and it's really doing a number on our water.

Yep, my dickhead neighbor washes his car pretty much every week. I don't think he know's about the drought. Rain=free car wash to me... Will be in Chicago soon for a layover to England, so I hope the weather permits a safe landing and takeoff.

YEah I have a beretta 92fs...

I have a beretta 92fs with the 15 round mags. I also had a pre ban threaded barrel for it, but my dad read the law (he was keeping it in his safe for me) and sawed off the threaded portion of my stainless threaded barrel. I was SO pissed. I said, DAD, if you would've asked, I still have the stock barrel that came with it. I can't get that barrel replaced...arrrgghhh...

Not when you have a 356 acre ranch with an under ground river and a well that can supply a small city....lol

Rainy, cold and frosty here :-( my conversion isn't the best but here goes... Its 0 degrees Celsius here which is like what mid 20s-30,ish? Just got back from a vacation to africa a few weeks ago and it was 35-40 degrees every day for 2 weeks so that's roughly 90-110 ish? Far FAR too hot!
