They took way too long to get this cue right. This cues was supposed to be a 2013 cue. lol

You are missing the point in my opinion. OB (Royce) put quality ahead of profit! That is almost unheard of now days! And on top of that they got it right! If you saw one in person you would agree, I think.
Sidenote: I originally had the OB1 on my old Schon. Then bought a Classic Pro for it. And on my OB-136 I got the OB+ Classic Pro. Love them all!
I used my Schon for 20+ years. Never really worried about it. But I find myself being very protective of my OB136! So much so that I ran across an used OB-130 priced right and I bought it for playing with so I could protect the 136. Of course then the wife grabbed up the OB130 and loves it so now I have to carry both when she is out with me!

I got the OB2 +. The cue plays very, very nice.
As someone else said, they took the amount of time that was necessary to get it right and didn't compromise the quality in an effort to push them out the door. I'm sure they were more frustrated than the people waiting on to get these cues but they didn't let that influence their commitment to quality.
This cue is so much better looking in real life, pictures could never do it justice. The balance is excellent and it hits sweet. No bad vibrations in the butt. I already had a Ki-Tech tip put on the shaft, I will be playing a lot with this cue.
I was just saying cause I ordered this cue around August 2013 from cuestix international, they inform me last 2 weeks that they will no longer stock these cues cause they only received one cue from OB and the one they received had lopsided points and strange veneers. I also ordered one from OB's distributor of Taiwan, they cancelled my order cause the wait was too long.
I wouldnt mind waiting cause I know they are only releasing the cues when they get it right. But after waiting for so long cuestix tells me the one they received isn't of good quality.
Anyways, not to brought up any argument here. The cue looks awesome, I can tell by the pictures of the OP. (Don't know which part was strange or lopsided)

All I can say is that there is nothing lopsided about anything on mine. It's a fine piece of craftsmanship!
