Cloth Question

I'm watching some old Accu Stats DVD with the Simonis green cloth. I've always liked that color and have said that if I had a pool room that's what I would use. But after playing on the tournament blue for the past 4 years and seeing that on all the tables now I've gotten quite used to it. What do the pros prefer? Blue? Green? What about the rest of you? I've seen that if you don't take care of the blue and don't replace it when needed it turns almost white and shows a lot of dirt and wear.

When I had my table I had green. But when I get another table I will be using blue.
just like it better seems brighter and easier on the eyes. (dont play on tan for very long OMG)

I do agree, the blue is easier on the eyes. Especially on TV.

I'm about too get new cloth and I'm tore on blue or green as well thinking blue though

See my other threads of the past few days about lights/wattage, English Green, and Chartreuse.

I finally decided on regular 860 Simonis in English Green. I really like the Powder Blue and currently have the Tournament Blue on my Gold Crown IV - until this weekend, that is. I am hoping the English Green wont turn out to be too dark or later in the year I will be going back to the Powder Blue.

One thing to be aware of is that on those Accu-Stats tapes the regular Simonis Green might look lighter or brighter than what it really is. I've had regular Simonis Green twice and both times the shades were a little different. To me its darker than what most people think.
