Funny pic/gif thread...

Something screwed up on that landing. If you watch the video, (UTube), his left wing was dead. Crop Dusters used to be famous for low altitude tight turns, in which they stalled out a wing and crashed.

The only way out of it is to kick your opposite rudder pedal. The altitude wasn't conducive to being able to do that.

The landing gear doesn't seem to be deployed either.

One of the first things that you have to be proficient at, getting yourself out of stalls and spins.

B-Hog, according to all reports, the incident occurred shortly after 'take-off, NOT 'landing' !... Hence, the pilot had just put his wheels up, and the shroud had not yet even closed over them !

Thinks I found surprising about it was ,,well first,,,how many people had cameras going while driving down that road. Do they all drive around with cameras??
And that wing actually hit the roof of that van,,, just enough to make it go into a small spin.(would like to see the damage on it up close)

And lastly,,,people lived through this ! Amazing really! They come down fast,,,look at how they cleared the buildings,,but barely cleared the road!! It was dropping fast!!
And could you imagine being in that plane?? Turned sideways(nearly upside down) in your seats just before impact!!
 
in a lot of countries they install cameras in the cars incase they have an accident, so they have videomaterial for the insurance. thats why you can find so many funny videos from russia :thumbup:

..and yet barely any footage of that jumbo plane going into the Pentagon.
which is supposed to be infested with video cameras, by the way.
