If you guys spent a third of the time trying it as you spend trying to discredit it you would likely be spending a lot of time on here thanking Stan, rather than trying to beat him down. He has a good product that will help a lot of people and I personally can't thank him enough for what he has done for me.

Stan, maybe if you called it 3D Aiming they would let you be,,,,,,,,,,,or not.

It has never occurred to me to call CTE...3D Aiming. That is s great descriptor for real cte. I may do a YouTube with 3D Aiming as a title.

What is the truth of CTE....how would you know? I'd be willing to meet you half way between LA and KY at a poolroom and let you show me and others in that room your knowledge of CTE. This week?

Actually Stan the 1st time watching the video when you started talking about 2 lines and Perception, 3D was the first thing that came to mind. So you know, with my background in Cad/Cam I have spent ample time laying out rectangular surfaces and properly scaled balls with perfect angles to pockets and mathematically the 2d layouts od the 3 angle perceptions absolutely will not make all the balls possible to their respective angles, which is why I stated in earlier posts that I found gaps when doing variations of Hals 90/90 and CTE stuff. It was not until your instruction and picking up on that 3rd variable that I began to wonder if it could really work, and then HAD to get on my table and see. I'm still not able to mathematically prove it works, but I do now know it does,, it's a very good place to be.

Stan, I would GLADLY meet you somewhere to have you show me Pro1. A lot of us posting in these threads are open minded. Your best proponent of Pro1 is Gerry Williams. He never gets preachy, never insults anyone's intelligence, and expresses himself quite clearly. Nob is doing you no favours. Cookie Man isn't, either. And sometimes, you're your own worst enemy.

If you're ever near the great white north, let me know where you'll be, and I'd love to see the system. There, am I off the "naysayers" wagon?

None of those are objective arguments. I can read a book that teaches me to juggle. Did I juggle as soon as I closed the cover? No. I juggled after practicing for days. I have spoken with Hal Houle. He gave me his CTE lesson. It was different from Pro1, but seemed to work on a lot of shots. Pro1 seems to be an evolution of his teachings. But the CTE die hards need to take a chill pill. This isn't the aiming inquisition, and you aren't being persecuted. Pat is asking some direct questions, and nobnob feels the need to preach to him minions about how unfairly CTErs are being treated. You bring it upon yourselves with the way you speak down at people, and not by the aiming method you choose. I wouldn't buy the videos simply because of some of the comments I've seen Stan make to people on this board. I'd also never buy a JB Case. Purely because I've seen how sideways these two guys can go.

Except PJ has very little knowledge about CTE and has asked the same stupid questions for years. The problem with that is the questions have very little to do with CTE and everything to do with how he thinks it works from behind the keyboard. PJ has no real clue and would never ever be man enough to admit he's been wrong all these years. His famous words are "we don't speak the same language" which translated means - I know you are right about CTE but I can't admit that after all these years of putting it down - it would be too embarrassing to him to admit he's been wrong.

I have no problem sharing with you the basics of CTE PRO ONE so that you could readily see that there truly is something to Real CTE.

I am pleased that you admitt that you are in the dark about CTE. It is hard to talk about something you have little knowledge of.

You associated me in a previous post with SCIENTOLOGY. I know nothing about that topic, at least not enough to speak about it., I assume you know a fair amount about that topic.

Shawn I've answered several people's questions to the best of my abilities, however PJ is a lost cause. I've tried several times with him. He will never ever admit he's wrong about CTE, and believe me he is totally wrong.

Stan, just ignore him. I just went at it with his nonsense in another thread. Just because I posted, he had to "take the other side". Which he did non-stop saying all kinds of rubbish. Then, when Dr. Dave stepped in, and said he was willing to do a test to prove or disprove what was being so adamantly talked about, he asked Rick, the most vocal one supporting the different method, for an example. Low and behold, Rick couldn't even come up with ONE example of using it!

He staunchly defends that type of stroke, constantly claims how great it is, but can't even come up with one simple example of using it. That proved to everyone that he has no clue of what he is even talking about on here. He is here just to sow discord. And he constantly sends pms to others to try and get them to back him. To him, and some others on here, it is just a big game. That is why he feels that he has to put up a a thumbsup icon all the time whenever he sees someone else post something against CTE. Like a thirdgrader would do. "ooh, another point for our side".

As even proved in this thread, way too many of these guys simply can't read and comprehend what they are reading. They only read what they want to be written, not what is actually written. And then they turn around and try and use it against you. Just like they did with the offer that Nob made Patrick. They twist that around into a "playing" bet, instead of what it was. They have to do that type of stuff, because they can't come up with any other response.


It's really sad that when something new and so good comes along, there have to be those that don't want to get better for whatever reason. And to make themselves feel better about lagging behind have to drag others down by preventing the new info from being accepted by others.

Like Ratta said, those that won't learn it because of some perceived slight,or even worse, because of how some phrase is worded, are only being foolish. They are willing to not benefit themselves in some feeble attempt to hurt you. You can't get much more foolish than that.

I hope you can truly keep up a good attitude with all the foolishness on here. I'm sadly at a point where it just turns me off so much that it even turns me off of pool in general some times. Too many make it no fun anymore. Way too many are only here to tear down and not build up.

Your comments are dead on target. Hal gave me fair warning many years back that when I put this out there on DVD, there'd be many that would come after me. I was prepared for the foolishness that I seen. The significance and implications of what I am presenting take me way beyond any selfish idea that I might occur for me to pull my horns in.

Those that are trying to stifle real CTE IMO do not really want pool to advance beyond a language/math thing. There are handful of thinkers that do not want pool to have evolved into an objective perceptually based game.

Rick, why call it lies when anyone can easily go to the other thread and see it is the truth? And, why do you keep citing religion when you don't even believe in Christianity? You yourself said you don't even believe in hell. That is your choice, but then why claim to be something you are not? Yes, deception is from other than God. So, why do you insist on the decepetions you do on here?

You aren't here to help or learn. All you do is twist others words to try and make them look bad. All that is is deception. Would be very refreshing to see you one time post about the truth. And, that is all I am going to say about it here. I won't allow you to drag me and this thread into one of your "holes".
 
I think for some it is more of a defense of the validity of the way they have done things, and their perceived importance of it.
