Who is jim pierce?? Show me your pierce cue!

Here's mine. It's a little older but still a goodie. I think Jim had a little problem with his clear coat back then that has now been fixed, so it developed a bubble near the joint face - Jim/Tommie offered for me to send it back many months ago but I got lazy and never did.

This is macassar ebony w/macassar ebony points w/fantastic grain as you can see. there is a single tasteful red/magenta veneer that you don't see from a distance but looks so cool when up close an din the light. Not sure if my pictures do it justice. It came w/3 bowling alley shafts at 12.5-6mm as requested. One shaft has a little more parabolic taper than the other two - I love that stiffer shaft for 9-ball & 3-cushion, the others I like for 1-pocket.

I wouldn't mind trying a Tibbetts, or Owen. Or maybe another Rauenzhan... Or Nitti... Cash is nice too.
I'm cue rich - and cash poor. But I have that wood and ivory collecting disease. LOL

Here's one of Jim's cues that I really liked.. I love the way his cues play too..

What's the thickness of pierce cue butt section? At the very end of butt cap? what cue would you compare the thickness to? Thanks guys

Here are some pics of a cue that Jim P. just made for my better half. These are before he put the Lizard wrap on. I just picked it up from him at his shop today (25 miles from my place). Jim's a good friend and amazing cue builder. He has some amazing cues in his shop right now just waiting to be finished up. I will get some pics of the finished cue this evening and post them.
