Efren got lucky again.

I don't mean to brag but I've 'Gotten Lucky' on a ton of 3 rail kicks over my time.

No sweat for Efren

Efren hits that ball 99% of the time and probably makes it over 70%. To him a 3 rail kick is like a one rail kick to the average person. He looked at it and didn't even hesitate.
 
It's way over 20% for him. The OB was off the rail and the running English throws the ball in. With his accuracy I would bet even money he makes it 5 out of 10
 
As far as 3-rail kicks go, that one is super easy because the OB is so close to the corner pocket, and the CB starts in the other corner...it's basically just a slight deviation from the starting point of the "spot on the wall" kick. I'm really bad at kicking and on a familiar table that's one I'm pretty confident in hitting myself...I would need some luck to make it of course.
 
It also helps that the cueball is located very close to the mirror image on the bottom rail of where the target spot by the 1-ball is. It makes it very easy to use any of several 3-rail systems. Note in particular how close the first contact point of the CB on the long rail is to the second diamond where the break line is.

Still, that's theory. Efren does it regularly in match play!
 
guys weird. says he gets lucky all time time. i dont believe he even believes that. just being modest or whatever
