finally got a "new" C8 McDermott

as some may recall I have been searching the AZ for a rosewood reverse point cue for a while.

Bought one off the bay, received it today! Needs a refurb as joint is cracked but McD
has a 250 refurb special on now.Joint,buttcap,wrap,and new shaft with matching ringwork.Great deal anyday and twice on Sundays.


Love the sharp points crisp veneers.D
Had my C11 for 35 years.

Anyone else find a cue they covet?

Yes, for me it was the McDermott Harley Davidson Eagle cue, one of the more collectible McD's out there.

Those are great looking points. To me the inlays in in the buttsleve actually detract from the looks of the cue, it does not need anything there, just the maple and those points and rings. Nice get!

I agree about the buttsleeve. I think when I get my C11 redogoing to trade it out for bem and rosewood blocks.
