Hi Robin,
How about the new guy or gay that buys something & then does not get what was presented & then quits the game because of a perception that they form that they've been 'hustled'?
I'm not making any definitive statement about anything.
I'm just trying to show that the game can have a rep that must be overcome & misrepresentations will not aid in that.
I hope you can see & understand my points.

I understand your point completely and that isnt something Ive engaged in and if that was done it is surely a problem and one I thankfully dont have to contend with.
I found some gaps in traditional Ghost Ball practice I didnt like because its subjective in an of itself as I have witnessed a lot of people come in and start playing only to decide there was no help for them and quit pool altogether.
I think the thing here is the traditional ways of doing things and Hit a Million Balls arent making new players and people are looking for ways that will. Ease of operation is one thing, purity is another thing, acceptance that you mode of operation might not be perfect on either side is another thing and keeping in check with purity of game principles is apparently important to the degree when spin becomes an issue to deal with and that does not mean I am saying you cant play spin with other methods Im not. The last thing I want to do is aggravate and already sore boil into a festering wound, one would think we might have had enough of that. If I didnt answer all of your question I will do so.

I was not inferring that any misrepresentation has occurred intentionally.
Earlier, I made a comment that many great discoveries were found to not be what they were first thought to be.
True communication is not always an easy goal & it is often complicated when one only has a text format.
It's also made more difficult when there are those that are seemingly to be constantly trying to inhibit that true communication by the twisting of words so as to create distortions &/or confusion,
I hope you can see & understand what I was trying to communicate.

If you'll look, you might note that I only responded to being trolled.
But... the statements were made & confirmed. I did not do anything with them until Cookie made his statements.
