No, not even close.
The issue is not how good a player he is/was or if he has some good stuff to pass along.........he's obviously a smart, very talented pool player. It's some of the things he says or how he goes about doing things sometimes is what brings criticism his way. IMO, in some areas, he's still in full hustling mode.........and it doesn't take a better player than him to figure that out.
Perhaps someone could make a Top 10 List of some of the things he's said on here that are totally off the wall or plain wrong.
You tell us...why do you keep attacking the messenger? You either stand for truth, or you don't. Just ask yourself- do you want to be known for truth, or standing behind who said something regardless of what is said? You decide.
I don't know what you're getting at here, but.........
In my prime I chose Family and Career over professional pool. I would have likely stayed busted knowing that I didn't play good enough to win........which is what one had to do in order to survive. Looking back I'm glad I didn't play good enough.........these two people wouldn't be in my life.

Stan Shuffett is not hustling anyone. He's good, honest people. I'd put him in the top 5 of most knowledgeable people in terms how pool is played overall.
No doubt he'll fiercely defend CTE Pro 1.
Retired in 2006.......4 years USAF, 20 years USN.
Glad things worked out for you too. When is your book coming available.
Hey, enough about CJ, Stan and me. Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself. You play much?
I love doing lawn care/landscaping. Here's a pic of my back yard that I did.
