Why Have It In Casino's?

5 figures switching hands is one thing. Donating 5 figures to a tournament prize fund is another...

Yes it is.....but if you get enough people gambling in a sports bar and throwing money to the owner from their wins, eventually the owner can have some change to put towards a big tournament and make more money. It's all about scratching each other's backs and doing what is good for the sport and each other.

Ive never seen an owner get anything but full rate table time and some additional food and drink $$ from the sweaters except where they agreed to keep the room open after hours for a few bucks.

There are many reasons to hold a pool event at a casino. Believe it or not, your age might have something to do with going to a casino vs. a pool room. Once your match is over you can go back up to your room without driving and rest and if you have made the cut that rest is important. This especially true if your over 55 yrs old. The other reason is safety with respect to a robbery or other nefarious activity. Lastly is the ability to get decent meals without driving anywhere and generally just enjoy yourself.
