I will be in Houston tonight and was wondering where I should go? Any places have any diamonds in good shape? If anyone wants to play pm me.

Theres plenty!

Theres more Pool halls in Houston than any other city in the country. Here you go:

Big Tymes - I-45 North at Cypresswood (5mins from Bogies - theres action here)

Bogies - I-45 North on FM1960 (5mins from Big Tymes theres action here)

Bogies(east) - Hwy 290 @ West Road and Jones Road

Legends - I-45 South (way south - 5 mins from Caspers))

Caspers - I-45 South (way south - 5 mins from Legends)

Clicks - Hwy 290 (there cheap action here during the day until 8pm)

There are 4 Slick Willies (the one one westhiemer has some action)

Thanks. Anywhere in the southwest area along 59 from say sharpstown through sugar land?? Or maybe Katy? I'll be in Rosenberg this weekend. Nothing I found online looked promising.

Thanks

My flight was delayed so I played a little bit of 1P at the Bogie's by the airport. At least late on a Sunday afternoon, the place was nice. Big, lots of tables and in good condition. Played an old timer four games for cheap and broke even.

Where is Legends. Google can't find it

Big Tyme Billiards off Cypresswood. Best spot in town.

6 9fts, 4=Gold Crown, 2= Diamonds (table 4 is tightttttt)

and a bunch of 7s and 8s

I'll be up there tonight. There is apa 9 ball so you'll have to play on the 9s.

Does anyone in the Houston area know of a player named Gary Gwinn? Word is he plays real strong. Just curious how he ranks in the overall scheme of a city the size of Houston. Would you rank him as B, A, AA or possibly even short stop speed?

He don't play
Please. Doubt he ranks anywhere in this city, he talks good though

You will like Legends.

Ask for Dennis or David if you want some one-pocket action. There are other 1P players but these 2 guys will match up.

Legends is in League City.

Take I-45 south and take exit #23. Drive down the frontage road to the first light (about 1/2 mile or less). Get in the right lane and go straight through the light staying on the frontage road. This intersection is I-45 & FM 518. There is a shopping center with lots of little businesses there at the corner on the right. Immediately after the shopping center is Legends. It kinda looks like an old steakhouse on the outside. It has a huge electric street sign so you won't miss it. If you accidentally pass it, the next entrance is a Cracker Barrel with a big parking lot.

Lol not anywhere near as tight as table 4 at Big Tymes.

I'm not sure that's correct.

The problem with table 4 is someone gaffed up that table. If you hit the middle of the facings at med/hard speed the ball is guaranteed to spit out. If you hit the ball soft you can hit the rail a long way up and it will still go in. It seems to me someone cut the pocket angle to match a ball spitting Brunswick.
