Yep seen them, $325 shipped is pretty high for four chairs. I would have got them, but he didn't have the inserts for the ash trays. $600 for three complete sets is what I could have gotten them for. He had three different styles.

I know how much because the owner of the chairs said as much when I inquired about them. You posted about them, and so did I. If you didn't notice I also stated how much I could have spent as well?

I'm up front about what I find, pay or sell for. Nothing to hide like its a big secret on my end. I also don't try to screw people over if I get a good deal. I may make a few bucks off it, and pass it on most the time I pass it on for what I got it for if I don't need as many as I find.. I don't try to screw the next guy when he enjoys the same things as I do.
Funny thing is I almost showed them to you like I did the other Brunswick items I found, and passed along to you.
Like I said to you before when you tried to sell 1 set of chairs to me for 800 to 1000 when you paid less then 200 per set. Sorry I know what you paid.

1. True to a point. You would sell if some moron offered you 5 times more than you paid. You did turn down an offer for 4 times more after all.

3.Not true you said you had an offer for $800, and turned it down I still doubt that. I said you should have taken it and ran. You didn't pay that much for the entire lot.
My Dad had a saying. He was a fool to offer that much, and you where a fool for not taking it.

Yes Sir, Cloth is broke in and table plays fantastic.
I thought I was going to be giving up some playability going from the Diamond to the gold crown, but I am beginning to think I have just played on poorly setup GC's my whole life. lol. This table is just as fast, plays very consistent etc.
Diamond will be selling less tables if they keep letting you top mechanics install other tables "properly".

Looks great!!!!! What a cool looking pool room you have!!! Just need a Hoppe Titlist to go in your cue rack now. Are your 1 piece cues correct for the time period? The Brunswick cues that came with my GCII do not have the black sticker at the bottom like yours. They say Brunswick at the bottom on 1 side and true balance on the other side. They are also not quite as dark as yours. They are marked "H M and L" and have black ferrules.

Yes All are correct for the period. I have the original sales brochure and brunswick sold a few tiers of house cues. the challenger were the cheapest, then your tru-balance being one step up and finally titlist being the premier.
The challenger cues are actually 100% maple, the points are not real, its just dark brown paint.
I would love to fill the rack with all Titlist cues.

Unfortunately, the Mechanics are few and far between and there are even fewer that know how to do things the right way. I was lucky to have had the proper training because it makes a world of difference!
Sadly, most guys don't get that opportunity or maybe they just don't give a damn how the tables play
This is the best Retro look back at the Gold Crown experience I've seen yet. Congrats to you on your fine work and capturing the essence of what we experienced as youngsters. I don't know if people understand the fine craftsmanship that went into the design of the GC and how even today everything comes together so nicely. The bolts never strip out and perhaps the only flaws that exist is the Ball Return Box (gulley) does wear out after removal and reattachment over time. Lastly the sound that you hear when the ball strikes the back of the pocket cannot be replicated. Its like heaven. All you need to complete your "CAVE" is the Brunswick two piece leather wrap Titilist Willie Hoppe cue.
Although its not as protective as the metal in the pictures, the foot rests actually have a piece of brown plastic on the top edge of the wood.
