I was watching the World Pool Masters match between Melling and SVB. Before the match both players are getting interviewed. I found what Chris Melling says kind of a insulting. But it made me wonder, do most Europeans feel the same way towards SVB? Listen to what he says right around the 3 minute mark.

I don't doubt for a minute that Chris thinks he is a better player than Shane and the only difference is he racks better.

I think its pretty hilarious but I have no doubt thats what he believes.

Over the last five-seven years look at the money won totals. Not even same ball park. Add in gambling wins and its not even same universe.

But yeah world championships and what not.....
 
I wonder if Nikos felt the same way before getting torched 50 to 21 on his home turf, that shane guy is pretty good.

Never said he was better but when you have world titles you have earned the right to talk and he has 2 also a MC mvp ,, has Shane even won a MC match I'm sure Shane will stumble into one sooner or later

Forget about titles. Which one of these two players do YOU think is the better POOL player? To me, it's pretty obvious. I think it's obvious to everyone who knows pool. Shane's better. When we're talking about "Who's the best pool player," there are only so many people to even discuss. Chris Melling (great player) isn't on the list. Ko Pin Yi, Darren, Shane, Dennis. That's a short list.

Can't we keep it real? Who do YOU bet on when it's all about any race, one-on-one in American pool. Not Chinese 8-ball or snooker. Forget about who I would bet on. Answer please. Thanks.

You can throw in a few more names in the conversation if you want to, but Chris is not one of them and that's for sure!

hes just jealous bc SVB has a neck and good teeth and he doesn't. and the ref racked this one and shane won. now STFU AND GO GET SVB SOME FISH AND CHIPS tubby.

Who is the best pool player? (Not english pool. Not chinese pool. Not that other game. Not the one shane can't play. Nor that one. Or that one).

That one! That's the one he's best at!
