Top 5 in NY

Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, & Dylan!
I'm sure a lot of you won't get the reference...

The NYC area has a ton of talented guys. Most of them I guess you would call short stops. They're not in the top 5 but numbers 8-50 are a jumbled mess of who's hitting em good at the moment. It's a shame more of them don't match up more.

Gregg, Jenn, Gary and Scott from the show would all be in that group. Gary and Scotty are both in action very often though. But probably 50 players in the area better than Ross Lacy who they have as 5th on "the list". He's an ok player but realistically probably 50 players better.

Shots fired.

should hunter lumbardo be on that list?
he plays out of the room jen barretta plays i think

Frankie and Joey K can't hang with Zion and Jorge pal. Maybe 10 years ago..

Could throw Hunter Lumbardo in there too.

I disagree, though I havent seen any of them shoot for a few years. I agree Jorge does not back down to Frankie. Ratings wise though, I think Frankie is rated pro while Jorge is not. I could also argue a few others for the 5th spot. Strong open players like Oscar , Mhet, or Alaska could beat anybody at any time.

Lol you disagree, then go on to say that you haven't seen them play in a few years...thats like someone telling you it's raining and you respond no it's not, though you haven't checked the forecast or been outside all day.

Do you really think the last few years matter? Some guys, Jorge for instance, is an up and coming player. Others for the most part, do not become drastically better overnight. I have played against Jorge and Frankie, so I think I am entitled to an opinion.

Rotation games, I'd put Jorge in the top 3 behind Earl and Mika. Especially for the money. Jorge traps everyone that comes to town.

Is Ron Casanzio from Rochester chopped liver? Like most lists that start with the words New York, people forget there is another world beyond the city. Sorry but Ron would make my top five NY players. Of course, JMHO.

I think it would take a resident of NY to know who the top 5 are
I'd have no clue

Rochester is a great place to be from....and Julio is a great guy.
He wouldn't like it in NYC..'cause there ain't no pity in the City.

That may be correct but .... Don't think Frankie and Joey would match up well again Ron. He's playing the best I've seen him in years.

See if Ron is willing to kiss Finnegans ring. Then if he does, he can get a shot at the number 5 spot.

lee kang is a decent pro. can compete with the pros at any level.

jayson shaw and jeremy sossei are in CT, but play often enough in the city to be contenders, as far as matching up in money games and tourneys the trip is a quick drive.

anyway you look at it, theres about 50 people or so better.

For you New Yorkers I have a question. There was a young kid I met that was traveling with Ginky for awhile in the 90's named Joey Korsiak that showed promise. Whatever happened to that kid? He wasn't there yet but as I said he looked like he had promise.
