You can post replies now in the WFS

Great. Now my twice-a-year listings can get booted to page 5 within 12 hours because some cue-seller's friends bump his listing with helpful information like "Great cue!", "Good luck with your sale" and the always-insightful "Wow!"

If I've got something to sell I'll still list it in the For Sale section, but it's a 99% chance that it will sell on eBay.

They allow replies but thread doesn't get bumped.

You are still good.

Have you even purchased or sold a cue on here? Why do you care about pricing so much? It is easy for people to research what a cue should sell for after all.

As mentioned earlier, this is the only place in the world to buy and sell cues?

Anyways, not that I really care about price but I notice a lot of members complaining about year old and 2 year old firewood getting on the front page. If its not moving then maybe the seller will get a hint.

If the initial problem were over-bumping of threads that move other threads to the next page then the same can be said about the firewood no?

You are correct but For Sale section is a public forum and medium. We are all pool players here and we don't want to see our fellow pool players buy 2k sneaky's.

You may like to prey on would-be buyers but I don't.

What I do have are some sneaky petes that I would like to sell to you though.

Just because you CLAIM to be a pool player, doesn't mean you can "value" any sellers offering or makers work... Just do all sellers a favor and stay out of their threads...

Now just because we have had the ability to post restored in the For Sale Section, the Forum rules still apply until these rules are modified.......the rules seem pretty lucid.
If I break these rules, you should report me and rest assured when any of you do, I will be reporting you and ask that every Azer do this as well......let's get rid of violators.

1) The entire forum is caveat emptor. Let the buyer beware.

2) Items for sale or trade MUST be pool related or strictly offered for trade for a pool related item.

3) Any Posts without an Item For Sale, Trade or Wanted to buy will be deleted.

4) "Price check" threads are not allowed.

5) There will be no cash offers etc. for non-pool related items.

6) If you are going to post in another's sale or trade thread, if you are knocking their thread, you will receive warnings and bans as with regular rule violations.

7) You have no right to criticize or complain regarding pictures, prices etc.

8) Everyone is expected to participate in a civil manner

9) Either buy from an individual or don't but knocking them is not an option.

10) It is also strongly suggested that you use an escrow service when making any purchase.

11) Over-active bumping is not allowed.

12) Your use of this forum reflects your consent of these rules.

13) All Questions and replies to questions should be done via PM and not in the sales thread.

As always, feel free to ask questions if you don't understand something.

p.s. I had to come back and post.....OMG.....if this isn't pure unadulterated hypocrisy......"Anyways, not that I really care about price" post#22
this from the same guy that wrote post #9.....".Hopefully we can help would-be buyers and prevent them from getting ripped off."....
Betcha his favorite Seinfeld episode had to be the episode with the "Soup Nazi" character.

I think an even better move would be getting rid of that goon...

Yep. Along with the rest of the neophyte wannabe's that know nothing of what spews from their mouth, cue related or other..Or is that keyboards... Plenty of those here for sure...

What are you doing ?

You know they just changed the section to where we can communicate now.
Its really a great that the sellers and buyers can once again back each other and give positive feedbacks on that certain product and that buyer or seller.

This change is a good thing and there is no reason to start stirring the pot for no reason at all.
