Everyone is looking for something without something:p???:p
I am used playing pool with a standard Normal cues,Maple shaft.Seems that everyone now is looking for bumperless cues and I am ok with them.I love them too,but after this trend everyone has started with ferulles shafts,wrapless entire cue and what is even more weird they have started with a serch for shaftless shafts,butless butts and tipless tip???

is going on nowadays:embarrassed2:
Can't imagine this trend in any other sport.It might happen that in Basketball they will play with ballless kind of ball if they would follow this trends.

Well, back in the day bumpers were done for a reason and that was mainly to protect the butt using a cheap technique and materials.
Nowadays there are new materials and (complexer) methods cheap enough to make this possible; also it might be desireable due to balancing reasons (keep the wood intact instead).

I can't say that I like bumperless or bumperful (is that a word?) more.
I do however like bumpers made from stainless steel with a nice laser "engraving"; can look very very classy and also will last forever.

In the end - things change, let it go, get stuff you like best!

I am thinking of purchasing cueless cue:eek::eek::eek:
So,I am starting a searh for a cuemaker who is capable of building this kind of cue for me.
My only requirement and condition is to be finished before Christmas:smile::smile::smile:
