What are pool's four major tourneys?

Golf and tennis have theirs, so what would you consider to be the 4 most prestigious titles to hold in the pool world?
 
I would consider the U.S. Open 9 ball Championship, the Derby City All Around Championship, the 14.1 World Championship, and the 9 Ball World Championship as good candidates. But I am sure that there could be a couple of others for options as well.

Off the top of my head,

Derby All-Around
China Open
All Japan
W9B

Although I think there is an asterisk depending on what the equipment and rules are from year to year. Hopefully a full better W10 Ball becomes a regularly staged event.
 
And a couple more candidates:

• WPA World 10-Ball Championship (even though it has been played only 4 of the past 8 years)
• Chinese 8-Ball World Championship (most prize money of late)

Edit -- Joe, I see you also mentioned the 10-Ball
 
World 9-ball championship
China Open
All Japan Championships
US Open 9-ball Championship

Each of these has the same field of 128 that you find in the tennis majors and just like the golf majors, they offer the toughest fields of the year.

Just like in golf or tennis, winning all four majors in a career is a remarkable and rare accomplishment. In tennis, John McEnroe never won the French Open, Ivan Lendl never won Wimbledon, and Bjorn Borg never won the US Open. In golf, Arnold Palmer never won the PGA and Sam Snead never won the US Open.

No man has won the career grand slam in our sport, but some of the majors are relatively new and this will change one day.

Off the top of my head I would say the following due to the prize money the winner takes home.

Chinese 8 Ball Masters (1st place prize was roughly $48K in 2015)
US Open 9-Ball Championship (1st place prize was $30K in 2014)
World 9-Ball Championship (1st place prize will be $30K in 2015)
*World Cup of Pool (1st place split $60K in 2014)
World Pool Masters (1st place prize was $20K in 2015)

*Would Cup of Pool is a doubles event so probably doesn't qualify.

Until the US open gets all the big players in it its not a top 4 but that might change this yr
with it being a WPA points event ,
