Danny Barouty in the HOF. Now that's a joke! I can think of a dozen guys who were better than him that aren't in it. Names like Marino, Mataya, Fusco, Breit and Ervolino to name just a few. These guys were real players, not shortstops who could win a local tournament. Richie Florence would have shot Danny into a coma playing Straight Pool and he wasn't considered a top player. He just ran hundreds!

I'd have to agree. Danny seems like a very nice guy and a fine SS level player... But his induction into any HOF is a bit of a head scratcher. (Would love to hear the intro on this one. Had to be a tad on the thin side.)

Anyone who disagrees, I'd love to hear the opposing view.
