Mr Wilson - the OP stated that he wasn't going to accept the return because the buyer caused the damage himself after receiving the cue (on page 2)

Yet we have seen that the damage was there in the first place. Not sure if that adds some perspective.
Our input really doen't mean much, but I read the entire thread and I have a few point blank questions to both Sebroy and Trinacria.
To Sebroy: Are there 6 defects total? I wasn't sure if the pictures of the dents were all unique dents, or the same dent with multiple photographs. 4 dents in the maple (both shaft and butt combined, can't tell from pics what part of the cue they were on) + the scratch on the joint collar + the deep scratch on the butt cap?
Based on my experience with many cues over the years (and being a former hothead myself), the dents on the shaft/butt that are horizontal are caused by dropping/slamming the cue on the table after a missed shot (anger). The scratch on the joint collar is caused by dropping the shaft on the floor when taking it out of the case (accident). The scratch on the butt cap is caused either by slamming the cue down on the floor after a missed shot (anger), or the cue falling out of the case and landing on the ground (accident).
To Trinacria: Were those 6 defects there when you had the cue? Are you a "cue slammer" in general? Did you ever drop the shaft on the floor?
Vocabulary: Some would still call the cue with those 6 defects "very good condition"
To Sebroy: How was the cue packaged? Was there any noticeable damage to the shipping container? Is it possible the damage was caused during shipping?
To Trinacria: How much was the actual shipping and packaging cost?
The lower the dollar value cue the bigger the headaches.
Not to side with any one, but a description is an opinion. My very good, might be your well played, my excellent might be your very good. So describing a cue is very subjective unless it is MINT, UNPLAYED.
I am disturbed by the initial loving of the cue and the description of the condition, and the acceptance of the cue then vs. the remorse phase. Also I ran "tons" of racks in the e-mail then I ran and hit a "few" racks. There are definitely things that do not add up.
You back doored e-bay and paypal, it does not surprise me that they bailed.
The photos clearly show the faults, you cannot blame the seller for the lighting. I take a lot of photos of cues, sometimes I adjust the brightness/contrast, always to brighten, and sometimes I don't. But you are assuming the seller is proficient or has knowledge of photo-editing software.
Good luck to all...

See, here's where I am drawing the line;
You say he's scamming and he says you are.
Knock the crap off.
You have buyer's remorse. I have seen a thousand scams in my time here.
You did NOT get scammed. You may not agree with him and feel that the value is different that you expected afterwards, but you were not scammed.
This is the end of this discussion.
You may continue your endeavor of asking him for a refund in private, but there will be no more bashing.

The man wasn't happy with the cue he received on the same day he received it after further inspection and the seller refused to refund the buyer the money. The seller already stated in the thread here that there will be no refunds and the buyer is a SUCKA!!!!!!!
He was told there was one knick in the cue and there is clearly more than one in it. Looks like a clear case of misrepresentation to me. The seller screwed him.

Gotta admit though, it seems the OP was asked about the damage multiple times through email and it looks as though all wasn't disclosed... The damage was clearly there in the OP's pics before shipping SO the questions were either intentionally avoided or the OP is not a detail oriented individual which would play to your argument that someone's good may be someone's mint. Just another reason I buy nothing unless I either see it in person or are comfortable with taking a chance on what I might receive...
Yeah I already explained that I ran a few racks and was really happy with the cue being super straight and felt great in the hand while playing, I was focused 100% on running out the racks not looking at the cue and I emailed him to tell him that it was great because as you can tell by now, I am the type of person that will say what's on my mind, look how many emails I sent the guy. It's just the way I am, I like to communicate and interact. I then noticed all the damaged parts that I Showed in the hd pictures and immediately asked for a refund and offered to pay for the shipping my self. I can't play with a beat up cue, it doesn't sit well with my pool game and my mentality. I believe that beat up cues belongs to the people who treat their cues badly and hit things when they are mad. I don't do that and I certainly don't want a cue that's been through that. I can understand why you are on the fence, it's all good you are entitled to your opinion but I can guarantee you that I am just a passionate person and I am by no means trying to scam someone with the end result of losing 92$ cad, that would be a pretty shitty scam attempt.

In that thread he makes it sound like the auction is for the ob cue with an extra predator shaft, tiger cue and a case. When you click on the link in it you go to an eBay auction with a picture of all of that but it is only for the cue with one shaft. That is shady

Check the middle shaft out. He says "like new" and there is a.very obvious chip out of it in the picture
To me that says a lot

OK.. seriously you and I know that when you sell a used condition item, you're not going to map out every ding, dent, finish lift, rub, or sugar mark.
Would you buy a cue that was described like this "good overall condition" OR..... slight wood impression 3" down, about .005 dp, another slight wood depression 6.432959 inches down .001357895 dp, delamination of the finish at the joint for .375986 arc length of the joint, chip in butt cap, .004 nanomicrons fade to .006 dp in center, birsdeye shows slight discoloration due to ultra violet breakdown of the finish 4.98575" above the theoretical apex of the butt cap.
For gods sake, its a used $400 dollar cue.

Here is the email that he sent me as to why he wanted me to buy as money gift.

Keep in mind that I've explained to him at this point that i made a new account to talk to him because the other one reached the limit of messages to send him.
Reason that I am in a different place than my facebook says is because I moved up north from where it says on facebook and I never updated it.
Reason why I asked so many questions was because he answered questions one at a time when I asked multiple questions in a email and I had to re ask and re ask just to get an answer. I don't know how many times i had to ask him about the condition of the cue to get a straight answer.
After he talked to this way in an exchange via email, why in the world would you then deal with him?? If you couldn't see trouble coming your way well I guess you were asking for it. I was was feeling sorry for ya but it looks as though your persistence to obtain this cue is what put you in this blind acceptance type position. Looks like you just gotta deal with it..
