Best ball pocketer on a tight table in pool?

If a ball is on the rail, does it have to be banked in, cuz it doesn't look like it will go down the rail...
Balls can be cut down the rail. You just have to hit it perfect and absolutely cannot brush the side rail

I like Appleton and Shaw for this. Also, that table with the 3 1/8th pockets is absurd. What's even the point of that?
One pocket and the "break and run pot" table.

That table looks to be impossible to make a shot down the rail with unless it shot at 2 mph.
Yep.

This table actually will accept firmly stuck balls as long as the OB is a diamond(or more)off the rail

I don't remember the table at Elite being that crazy tight unless this is new. Is this the first table by the door? I haven't been there in a few months. Table rolled off super bad though on one of the bottom pockets.

Yep, that's the one, it hasn't changed. I didnt notice the bad roll off, though.

I think it was the 7 ball during a tournament, and Corey said after "I guess I need the 6" or something like that.

It's on ustream Sacramento hard times channel
Google it
The second installment is where Svb catches gear before that it was 10-10
Svb ends up winning 21-11 or 12 if memory serves me correct

Has it to be SVB he is undoubtedly the best player to ever pick up a cue 😳

On table #1 at hard times, its dennis.

Carlos Biado bbq alex in a hard times final on
table #1.

wu chua-ching or chang yu-lung

There's something very special about Wu's natural talent.

If most of what you watch is the American pool scene only, then it's understandable that you would think Shane is the "best ball pocketer on a tight table in pool".

Alex Pagulayan is certainly one of the best all-round players, especially with his ability in one-pocket. But when it comes to the absolute sharpest shooters, he won't be at the top of the list.

If my life was on the line and 1 shot had to be made to save it, my pick is Jayson Shaw or the Pearl.

If my life was on the line and 1 shot had to be made to save it, I wouldn't trust anyone but me.

If it was just money, I would put my faith in the Lion.

Wow, when did this happen?
Shane VanBoening gives Corey Deuel the 5 & 6 playing 10 ball.(the 5 & 6 ball wow)
The match starts at about 1 hour 35 minutes of the first link.
Its some of the best pool I have ever seen.
Corey had just won the one pocket event and gets in a action match with Shane this table is a super tight GC with 3 7/8 inch pockets and Shane makes it look like a barbox with buckets lol amazing

#2 http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/44062484

If you listen after the match you can hear Corey say next time we play i need the 4 and 5 ball lol

The best pocketers in cue sports are the snooker players and English 8b players
If there is a pure shooting /potting contest (like Dunk contest in basketball), the guys at top would be Ronnie O, Robertson snd a bunch of top snooker players followed by English 8b alums like Potts
Pool players in the conversation would be Jayson, Darren, Wu, Little Ko

Don't know why SVB and Orcullo are mentioned. Sure they can shoot and pot but so can 95% of other top pro pool players even on tight pockets and bunch of other unknown players who can pot but not good with CB control or safety or mental game.

But u get a feeling that if there is a World Potting/ Pocketing Championship (like each player shoots 100 times at OB placed in different spots on table and one with highest score wins), some relative unknown will win it over these notable players.
It is like in football , the best dribblers , jugglers are not Messi, Neymar , Ronaldo

Why wouldn't Alex be in the conversation, given his proficiency at snooker?

Among pool players my vote would go to Alex. I think he has the least amount of miss in his stroke of any pool player.
