The Viking Cues from the '60s and '70s are the ones most sought after, followed logically by those from the '80s. All had "Viking Cues" or something similar under a clear plastic window. The stamped on logo such as that on your cue began to be used in the '90s, and the "quick release" joint like the one on yours became standard in 1999.

I played with Viking cues in the '70s. I recently held one in my hands that I sold to a good friend in the late '70s!

One of the things I really like about the company is that they have ALL the old catalogs on their website!! I wish more cue makers did that...
