Template racks: Why aren't they sponsors?

I have not seen thus far any of the template rack companies actually be paid sponsors of tournaments, and of course have their racks used for said tournametns. I've seen the template rack in tournaments, but it seems the promoter used them on his own accord as far as I can tell.

This seems like a lost opportunity for the template rack companies. If I were them, I would put a time clock on traditional racks, and template racks, and say "My xyz template rack will save your tournament X hours".

Its disgusting watching players b!tch and moan and cry and beg and throw tantrums about the triangle rack.

Lets clean this embarrassment up. Burn all the triangle racks!

Actually we are paying for a banner at the US Open this year and we have donated templates in the past to tournaments around the country. With the changes in streaming you will likely see more of our banners as we grow but that is the key thing... Growth...

Outsville is a tiny tiny company in the industry but we are growing and as we grow we feel like it will be a responsibility and a benefit to us to sponsor events when we can...

The old saying is that you cannot get blood from a turnip.. Well we hope to not always be the turnip and with multiple products we likely won't have to be... So keep looking for us... The Open will hopefully be a watershed in the recognition of the Accu-Racks...

The Magic Rack is CSI and CSI does more than most in sponsoring pool.. The added monies for the Opens in Vegas was CSI.. The added monies for Swanee is CSI and a few others along with their work with the juniors...

All of the other templates are chinese imports and there will be no sponsorship monies coming... Someone has been buying turtle racks off of aliexpress and sponsoring Oscar's Mezz tour but they are not the maker...

Europe and Asia have been using templates for years. The Magic Rack was actually carried over here from Japan according to legend.. Maybe the template use, taking some of the drama, shenanigans and bad blood out of the game, has a small something to do with pool gaining in popularity overseas while it declines outside of leagues here.....

Various template rack companies sponsor tournaments by providing their racks, but I doubt any of then make enough profit to add significant amounts of actual money to anything. Too much competition in a niche of a niche market.

What I was getting at was IMO, template racks should be a requirement of any tournament, to prevent the rack drama that we saw at TS this past weekend, and any other triangle racking event that does not have explicit rules like the World Pool Masters did a few weeks ago.

I've not once seen an ad or a banner or anything from any template company. I just think they could grow their market even more, if they supplied racks to every event they could, which of course, comes with them putting up money as a sponsor, and not simply providing free racks.

To Renfro, I hope you have success with your rack. My message was more for the other companies, as you are brand new. That said, I think you have an oppurtutnity to take the template rack market over, because none of the other companies advertise, if your price point and performance is favorable.

My understanding of the template history is it was "Magic Rack" from Japan. Then someone knocked them off to what we have all been using the past 5 years called "Magic Ball Rack". Then CSI became the exclusive distributor of "Magic Ball Rack". Then, they became knocked off by the Chinese on the $1 racks that sell on eBay and such.

All I want is to eliminate all the racking crap. It detracts so much from the game.
