Thorsten hooked up to sensors - What happened to that experiment?

A few years ago Thorsten Hohmann (I'm pretty sure it was him) was hooked up to a bunch of sensors and recorded during several shots. I believe one other pro player was involved also. This was on AZ's main page. It was a scientific experiment that was just getting underway.

I can't recall if he had accelerometers placed on his body, or he had visual cues placed on his body that were then analyzed for motion by special cameras and software.

The time frame I want to say was 2012 to 2013.

1. Does anyone know what happened with the experiment?

2. Can someone help me find that article? I spent the past 20 min on google and in AZ's news archive trying to find it and no luck.

Thanks.

There was an experiment going on during the Eurotour in Austria St. Johann. The equipment and cameras used in this experiment was worth more than 250.000 Euros. There were several top players performing different kind of shots. Nick van den Berg, Ralf Souquet, Niels Feijen and many others. As far as I remember the Austrian Billard Federation did this in a joint venture with a University of Vienna. So either one of them must have the material.

Yes, that's the one! Actually now that you gave the names, I believe it was Neils not Thorston I was remembering.
