If the butt is not made yet you should be able to send the cue maker your shaft and have them match it up. I have 2 Diviney Lake Salvage shafts that are identical and fit either of my Diviney playing cues and I'm having him make me a 3rd one like the other 2 that I already have.
Pretty cue butts are nice, but it is the shaft and tip that bring out the best in a player so I like having a spare.
yes Ariel matched a OB shaft to my cue. Quite painless and he can give you a solid price before the work is to be done.

I know the cue makers can match partial shafts. But can they do it if mine already has a black collar on it. Or do I need to buy a new partial. The shaft I have now had a all black collar
Yes, the shaft I sent him was a 3/8x10 black collar OB. He replaced the ring. I guess it might depend on what thread your shaft currently is going to guess the Carmeli will be 3/8x10
