Hey Ken,
Art was one of Gus' very good friends. Gus' had a very close circle of friends and Art was one of them. So much so, that he put his name on the bottom with the rest of the Art's family. This cue wasn't just signed it was put along side cause they were close like family.

was this cue ever refinished? looks like the day it came off the lathe.
Everything about this cue is spectacular...even has leather wrap!! amazing piece of history.

This cue is just the way it came from Gus.
Art maintained this cue in a pristine way.
