Pawn shop find. Figured it's worth a gamble. Anyone think they know the maker?

Surely it's worth more than 30 bucks. Looks pretty old. Didn't pay much but still.

It's worth whatever people are willing to pay, but this cue was sold at Kmart or some department store in the 70s. Not worth much today.

The case may be worth a few bucks more if it is really clean on the outside.

If that receipt for $63.22 is what you paid for this cue, you overpaid big time.

purchase

Lol no. Bought 8 DVDs as well. Paid 50 bucks. All in all it was just a gamble. At least I learned something new. I'm ok with losing 50. Could have been worse for sure. Maybe next time. Still learning the older cues and what to look for. Pretty competent on newer cues.

The brass pin screams import.

The crooked inlays scream import.

The crappy rings scream import.

The stained maple to hide trash screams import.

The crappy veneers scream import.

It probably plays fine, cleanup the shaft, new tip and ferrules, and give it to a league player starting out.

$30, likely no more is a pretty good appraisal for your cue.
It sounds like you did not get hurt. Enjoy the cue, it just is not a home run though.
