Anybody used their cue repair service ?
They do ok but when it comes to questions and emails etc.
I always get much quicker replies from the Billiard Warehouse.
Done some business with them in the past and they're always
very accommodating and quick.
The shaft work was very good and fairly quick. I had wraps added to 2 butts. The butts were wrap-less to begin with. Excellent job and fairly quick turnaround.
Had 2 Dufferins converted. Took way too long. Did not like the way they came out. Rick made good on them.
Call Rick or anyone at Seyberts and they are there for you.
Got a 3x6 hard case, some shaft glide, chalk, towel, and also a Jim Rempe Training Ball
Im gonna order a new shaft soon, they will have my business for sure.

I ordered my first cue with them last year. Good people.
I just ordered some boxes of chalk and a hand towel from them. Everything was very nearly packaged and business cards to boot!! They are very timely and trustworthy.
Seyberts is great, but Ozone will always get my business. They are local to me, so I like supporting our economy. Besides, I think they do an outstanding job.

They have a physical store too, they are not a corporation and have families to go home to just like you and I. And commerce will do what it wants and use whatever medium to sell/advertise that is the most effective, right now it's the world wide web but who knows when that will change. Personally I have a hard time buying cues without seeing them and I actually came up with a "Top 10 reasons to buy from a brick & mortar store" document when I worked at Predator for our dealers to use to combat the new competition (circa 2001) online.
But regardless you have to give kudos and share your happy stories when you come across good customer service and efforts, too often we only share horror stories since some people are negative by nature. I've dealt with Rick, Sid and KJ (cue repair) for 15+ years and have only heard good things from their customers about their service, in this industry it's hard to keep a sterling reputation but they've done so and then some.
