World Cup - Hurghada, Egypt - grid results

Six players with single-game averages of 3 or better including one of 4 (Cenet). I think that's a pretty high count for 3's.
 
I noticed from early on, believe the prelims in the tournament a few players were making nice shots often
And caudron capped it off with 40 points in 11 innings ending the final on a 10 ball run, think he ran 11 and 9 also in the final match as well
 
They did not seem to have the kinds of problems with slipperiness with the Simonis cloth that they did with the Gorina cloth at the World Championships. I wonder if the difference is in the cloth, the tables, or the table set-ups.

The World Cups have the qualification rounds on the tables before the main event so they are a little broken in. I think the Championships have brand new cloth except for brief training sessions.

That makes sense since there are far more qualification rounds in a World Cup than in a World Championship.
