Hi Folks,

Thanks to all of you who assisted in identifying two of the four photos I posted for East Ridge Billiards in Rochester, NY. Here is another individual whom I believe to be the master of ceremonies at the BC Open in the late nineties. Your assistance is again requested. Thanks in advance.

Eric Clapton's brother?

I think he's an actor. Could that be David Morse? Totally a wag and likely wrong, but that's who came to mind.

The guy we're asking about appears in several photos of an awards ceremony along with various well known pool players. One shows this guy, microphone in hand, with Mike Sigel, Kim Davenport and Gary Pinkowski. Another with Loree Jon Jones. Must have been from a BC Open event in Binghamton, NY in the late nineties.

Lyn.

A young George Fels, maybe? Shot in the dark....

Does NOT look at all familiar, Lyn. I thought I knew all the people connected with the BC Open, though. It isn't Charlie Ursettie or Smitty or the head referee. It may have been someone who Gary was trying to get interested in doing some stuff on film and distributing it, I know he talked about it at one point. I'm not sure if any footage was shot or not but I don't think so.

He was a local radio personality with a voice for commercials. They come and go like hitchhikers at the truck stop. They stay for 3 months and are off to a new job in some other state.
