Steve's gearing up to go back into production. He announced in an earlier thread that he's taking refinishing orders right now. When he gets the river of wood flowing again, expect some great things. He's got a fertile mind & uses top-notch woods.
Cool, where's he setting up shop at these days?
3rd one from the left (also replied to your post in the cue review section).
cheers
sanne
He has setup shop in NC and has the best maple out there!!!!

Your info is a little skewed... Your thinking of Sam Escobar, Steve's partner. He built all of L. Bludworth's cues along with Donald and some other guy, from the early 90's on.Steve is a great guy to work with and makes a great cue as well! Below is a link to an old post showing 2 cues (including a butterfly) I ordered from Steve and a Palmer restoration that he did for my buddy.

Another guy to check out is Chris Byrne in Denver. Chris makes a super nice butterfly.
If I recall correctly both Klapp and Byrne both spent some time with Bludworth. (?)
Good Luck!
