It was probably worth more before you started sanding on it. :frown:

I saw your other post.

Hard to say the value now.

Maybe somebody else will say.

I have no idea of the model. It's not in the JOSS Brunswick catalog that I can see. Are you saying it is a JOSS? Where does it say JOSS on it? As far as I know all the JOSS brunswicks were marked JOSS and that logo was on the import versions, not the JOSS cues. The imports were through Falcon, I believe many were made by KPS in Taiwan, possibly some by Falcon in North America. Those inlays do look like Falcon inlays, which look like JOSS inlays of course since Dan Janes basically got them started.

If nobody here knows 100% for sure, I would email Janes and Falcon to ask them.

I could always be wrong.

EDIT: I might have been interested in it myself. But not if you were sanding on the logo.

Price

From what I've seen these sell on eBay I would guess 125-165 but you
never no. Someone could see it and say that looks just like my first cue
and give you more. GLWYS

The ones imported by Falcon from Taiwan had 18 pins.

But, I believe that at least some (probably all actually) of the Falcon made (not from Taiwan) sticks had 14 pins.

In other words, as far as I know, the 14 pin alone is not enough to identify these cues as JOSS because Falcon used the 14 pin in cues that were branded this way as well.

Of course, I could be wrong.

It's easy enough to just contact JOSS. Show them the pics. And ask them.

Why are you sanding off the logo?

I wondered that myself. And apparently this was done before asking about the value of the cue.

Definitely confusing to me.

But perhaps the poster has some issues with Brunswick and just can't stand to see the logo? I dunno.

125-165 on Ebay was quoted in a post above. But there is one on Ebay right now with that logo that has been relisted several times. A lot of times people list them as JOSS cues even when they have 18 pins. That may be why there is some false elevation of their selling prices. Even when not listed as JOSS some people buy them thinking they are JOSS, even when they have an 18 pin, so they are willing to pay more.

This cue looks like it was in nice shape. Personally I think it's a Falcon made cue. Could be wrong. Could be Joss. But without the Joss name on it, and with it having been sanded, I would speculate that the value has been substantially altered no matter what it might have been before.

You can see the similarities between your Brunswick and my Joss Brunswick. I agree that it's probably a Falcon made cue.
