8 ahead One Pocket.

We're entering our 4th day. They played Friday night 10:30 till 3. Finished with BS up 2 games. Played 6p-4a Saturday. Finished even. Played 6p-4a Sunday. BS up 4. Starting again at 6p tonight.

Playing 6p-4a until someone wins.

Great match.

Is it still going? Updates? Results?

I believe B&S were up as many as six games a couple of days ago, then up one game the next night, and were even before the start of last night. I believe the plan was for last night to be it, with a pro-rated pay off, if there was one.

Wow that's tough action for sure. Its sad that these players have so little opportunity for a decent payday. $2500 = $1250 each for Bergman & Smith / 60 hours = about $21.00 per hour. Not bad for playing a game and certainly more enjoyable work than my desk job, but surely tough to make decent, steady cash at this rate.

You missed the "tough" part of the math-JJ gets 0 for 60 hours work. How does your desk job look now?

ah, you didn't factor in the backers' percentage.

Damn, pool math is hard! So the revised math is approximately thus: $2500 X 50% (backers take about half?) = $1250 for Bergman & Smith to split = $625 each / 60 hours = $10.42 per hour. Ouch. They still got to get paid for playing a game though. Sad about JJ, but them's the ropes.

Not argueing one way or the other, but It is work for them.
Just saying. Like the outlaw Josey Wales told the bounty hunter,Dieing is a hell of a way to make a living.:o
