In memory of... cue display

I had a very close friend pass away and I want to retire his cue at our local watering hole. I am looking to get a custom shadow box with green felt on the inside and his cue displayed horizontally and a gold plaque. I need some direction...I can't find images online anywhere. Anyone recommend someone on long island?

I have seen hockey stick display cases etc have been used in the past. You can use green felt as the back upholstery and have a trophy shop make a "plaque" to go inside. Plenty of room for pictures etc.

The perfect case

I have the same style case for a autographed baseball bat that was signed by the all the players and coaches from the 2009 Fresno State NCAA Baseball Championship Team and the case has a lock so that others cannot just reach in and grab it.....

Sorry to hear about your friend. It sounds like a very touching gesture.
If you look up some sports memorabilia display makers, you might find what you're looking for.
For example:

Something like this would be really nice, I think.

I did this for a friend of mine and put it in my pool room. It turned out great. The glass is "museum glass" and allows you to see the cue better in person then regular glass or plexiglass. It was pricey. About $500
I just went to a local frame shop in the mall.
