Help identifying Joss cue

So I recently picked up this Joss cue in Portland. It was practically brand new when I picked it up, has a really nice finish over some beautiful wood... the thing is, I've never seen a cue quite like this from Joss. I've taken it two two different cue mechanics, including Roger Pettit and the both agreed that it's not a typical Joss style. Roger said that the joint isn't one that Joss uses frequently but that the bumper was joss and it was a beautiful and well built piece. I bought it with the Kamui medium tip. Any help identifying this a little better would be awesome... pictures below

No serial number?

Strange pin for a Joss.

Seems familiar but can't place it.

Does it actually say Joss on the bumper? Joss type bumpers are available without the logo. So just having that type bumper is not an ID unless it actually has Joss molded into it.

I would contact Joss if nobody here knows it.

Janes has been making customs all along so it need not be in any catalog.

FYI: There have been numerous Joss counterfeits imported from Asia. Not saying this is one, but since it is so different I would want very positive ID.

It's a Joss. They did some holiday cues a few years ago like this with no steel joints & no wrap. I think they sold in the $300-500 range. This looks like one.

I think that's what I may remember seeing. Seems so familiar.

I'll call them on Monday and hopefully get a little more information about it I saw the holiday ones that you guys are talking about but they seemed to all have some inlays whereas this one doesn't. Hopefully they have some answers for me

You saw them where?
