Is it normal to use a little bit of english when you are using the diamond system to kick at balls?

Diamond System & Kicking

There are many diamond systems. A good printed intro to 10 or 15 of them is in Bob Byrne's books.
Different diamond systems require different amounts of side spin. Some require none. Some require roughly equal amounts of follow and running english. Some require maximum reverse side spin.
One of the most important things to do when learning any diamond system is to understand what spin must be used. If your spin is not consistent, the system will not give consistent results.

3 rail or conte system ( since its the only one they know)
yes it does use running english
BUT
as bob said there are many dead ball (no spin)
reverse english
extreme english

I spent a few hours yesterday with Nick Varner down in Owensboro. He gave me a quick into to the kicking system(s) that he uses. Was very interesting.
