i know right.......US open.....16 f'n players.....i wanted to go play very bad, but with slower work in the gulf, the money its costed to get that pool program i started up and going, expanding my familys shop an equipment.....and not long between the notice of the event and the actual event.....if i had known at the new year....could have been there no issues.......
Yes, it's a shame that so few are playing in the two US Open events this week. The straight pool event was announced in December, but I think it was February before the one-pocket info was public. And only about 6 to 8 pro-level players are in the fields (although that includes some of the best). Kudos to the two Marks for holding these events, and I certainly hope they don't end with this year's effort. But something different certainly needs to be done to get more top players into the events.
