John Barton's exercise routine video

I posted that as a matter of principle a woofing thread about a pool match did not belong in NPR.

And of course you'll continue to bark. You're a chihuahua and a chihuahua gotta do what a chihuahua gotta do.

Your soul is mine.

Lou Figueroa

A chihuahua that put up 10k of his own dough and didn't need a three-ring circus of backers.

Come to OKC and show us how much soul you have.

10 ahead 20k unless you have no heart. It's that simple.

A chihuahua nonetheless.

All your yapping is drearily familiar: gonna do this, gonna bet that, gonna side bet this, you're scared, you have no heart, yadda, yadda, yadda. Been there, done that, and now I have your soul, lol.

You know my offer for a shot at your dough, not even going to bother to repeat it again but I will promise you this: if you come to St Louis to play I will bring my pickle jar with your soul in it. If you win, you can take it home with you.

Last two times I was in St. Louis you ducked me. When you find some heart you know where to find me.

The time you were in St Louis I didn't want to play you for $100 a game because I knew that when I beat you you'd forfeit the $3K show money for our match and then crow about how I had cost myself $7K. If you were here another time I was not aware of it.

Anywhos, posting up will fix any imagined concerns you have about ducking.

In the meantime, I will keep your soul safe and sound.... BTW, your soul has a decided preference for Purina Puppy Chow. I throw in a few nibbles for it every now and then.

Aww, you forgot the part where I said I would play you IF we both posted the whole amount so no one could back out. You wouldn't even play an 17 year old kid one hole for $100 a game..... everyone knows you have no heart.

Selective memory much?

You flat out ducked me both times.

10 ahead 20k OKC. When you find some heart. Which will be never.

It is often mentioned about backers for this match. I am just wondering if this is the correct term. My understanding of a backer is someone who puts up the money for a percentage of the winnings. This was not the case for this match. Someone put up about 80-85% of the money for one of the players with no percentage going to the player. This doesn't seem to qualify as a backer but more like an investor or someone with a large piece of the action.

I know I would be kicking myself forever if I won a match I was supposed to win and someone else walked off with almost all of the cash.

I know I would be embarrassed by it and would certainly not be bragging about how I won all of the money and took it home when I only took home a small percentage.

Of course there are different strokes for different folks.

You just walked and wanted to play for $100 a game. Said you'd "donate $1,000." Nothing about posting anything.

When was the other time?

That's right, backers is the wrong word. More like cattle prodded into playing on someone else's money.

If anyone out there thinks they can get a heartless player to the table come to OKC and freeze up the money and let's make a date.

Maybe he will truly crush me this time if you can inject him with enough heart to stand up for a couple days.

I heard he busted everyone in LA......oh wait that was some fictional story I read about a guy from the midwest who fantasized about walking into a west coast pool room and having everyone there cower in fear.....just can't seem to remember all the pool fiction I have read put out by the "best writer in billiards".

No, I said we had to post the whole 10k. I didn't want you to back out.

The other time was in the early 2000s and you were well aware I was coming through and you ducked me.

Water under the bridge though.......

Now up ahead 20k 10 ahead OKC.

Found some heart yet?

You agreed to the $3K show money so I don't know what your malfunction is on that point. If you were that concerned about my backing out you shouldn't have agreed to the match w/o 100% posted. By the time you showed up in St Louis the $3K show money was a done deal.

And "early 2000s" lol. Well, that's sufficiently vague. In any case if you think I anticipate and/or track your travels you are even more ate up with me and far more whacked than I ever thought.

I proved I had heart when I flew out to NJ to play you for $10K, streamed live to the world. Me, a $10/$20 a game player. Going to OKC to play you again wouldn't prove I have heart, it would prove I was stupid. I don't need your money. I've proven I can beat you and fade your bs.

Heart would be you coming here and getting your dough back ;-)

Hi John,

Remember last year when you made your challenge to Lou for a rematch? Remember when you said he had a week to accept your terms, or the match wouldn't happen? Remember when you said you would be understanding if he didn't accept and wouldn't resort to calling him a coward?

No one wants to see you beat Lou as much as me, but this constant back and forth is getting rather old. It's obvious that Lou isn't going to come to you. So IF you really wanted a rematch, then you'd go play him on St Louis.

All I know is if I had the money, Lou would need to get a restraining order, because I would be chasing him all over the globe to play. You should have the same mentality. Again, that's IF you actually are wanting to play him, and not just looking to run off at the keyboard.

He doesn't want the game. He just wants to woof about wanting the game. He's all hot air. He's a carnival barker.

I don't think he wants to enough to chase after it (like he should be doing), but if Lou knocked on his door, I'm certain John would play him.

The thing is, Lou doesn't want or need to go to John.

Yeah.......
You can beat Lou Figueroa for sure.......... Now that you have found your "vision center" nothing can stop you !!!!!!!

He won't bet high enough. I am not looking to break even.

If I wanted to break even I would have already stopped in St. Louis one of the four times I have been through since I played Lou last time.

You all can speculate all you want to. When any one wants to test me lets put 20k in escrow and you have 30 days to get your man to the table.

As for calling him a coward...well, if I were the favorite and the guy I claim to have easily beaten offered me a rematch for what my handlers were trying to high roll him for the previous time I'd "swim a river of shit" to quote McGoorty, to play him.

The guy is and has always been a coward on the pool table. He didn't play for 10k he played for a sliver of it. He knows he can't win. I had him beat from the first shot and dogged it off. I am THE WORST one pocket player on earth and he can't win.

I don't need to chase people. Notice I am not the one in this thread who jumped in to dog Lou. I don't care if we ever play again BUT I made a more than fair offer to someone that is supposed to be way better than me. When Lou wants to follow me around and spout off I will simply remind him that he has a standing offer to play for 20k.

I dont give a crap about the previous match. I played, I lost, it's done. Now there is a new offer, 10 ahead for 20k.

When someone figures out how to get Lou a heart transplant we might play.

Then show up and post the money.

It's really simple and easy to shut me up. Come here and we will go to the bank together and each put 20k in escrow with a simple contract governing how the money is to be disbursed under what conditions.

You will have 30 days to get your player to the table the day we sign the contract or you forfeit the money.

Yawn. the offer is 10 ahead 20k in OKC. Stop living in the past and look ahead to your bright future. 25k to 20k if you agree to a 30 second shot clock.

If I publicly made an A$$ of myself and got my balls shot off I would be more than happy to "break even" and show that last time was an anomaly.

Unfortunately the score was probably a little flattering. Every time I see you hold a cue I need to hit myself over the head with a hammer to forget it so it doesn't creep into my form.

Lou is correct not to get involved in another match. During the run up to the event you went nuclear with your posting and basically insulted everyone in his extended family. Meanwhile Lou went dark. Came and stomped on your throat. Now he has some of your money and your soul in a box.
