John Barton's exercise routine video

Just wait....there's more. I powered up the fitness tracker to get some data on what this type of speed pool does in terms of steps and calories burned.

Will post that video in a few days just as soon as I find some Richard Simmons shorts.....

vigorous sex, as in hard core long dickin, for an hour will burn apprx 700 calories

You're the one stalking me.

No one asked for your opinion on this fun activity.

But since you're here.

When you find some heart.... 10 ahead 10k OKC.

lol, get some heart yourself. Your money and soul are here in STL.

Silly Shawn, of course I expensed it why would I ever do it any other way? Even if I had reached into my personal account to pull 10k out and gamble with it I would have reported it as a loss and reduced my taxable income.

So I got the "benefit" of saving a little on my taxes.....woo hoo it was still 10k gone from my money....I know this is really "taxing" what little brain you have but hopefully you will get it.

Now let's ask Lou if he told the IRS he had $10,000 in extra income. I think I need to file an amendment to my return and send him a 1099 to show that he did indeed receive that income. Don't you think I should do this Shawn? Since he constantly crows about how HE won 10k?

I think it will cost me a couple hundred to file a late 1099. Probably worth it at this point. I will check with the IRS office tomorrow when I go there and get the facts on how to file one several years later.

Actually, you're the one that's mentioned he had backers. So he didn't really win the whole $10k, did he? So go fill out paperwork on all the people that had money involved. Didn't you figure Lou's share of his own money was about $20? Good luck in your quest.

And you call me silly. Yikes.

While you're there, look into the legality of writing off a gambling loss from your business income. :)

JB & Lou 10k Match?

Gambling loss? You mean the prize for an exhibition.

I don't know what Lou's portion was....he and his crew would need to figure that out. I paid him so how he paid them is between them.

Anyway I can't be bothered to mess with it now....I don't really care if Lou didn't declare the extra income or not....probably not but that's nothing to me except to mess with him a bit.

That you and him and a couple others are getting so worked up is what's truly amusing.

20k. 10 ahead okc. That's the offer on the table. I would suggest you spend your time fluffing your stallion instead of reveling in a past victory.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch. Just not playing one pocket. I want to see FEEL vs CTE in an offensive game. I mean that was the whole debate.

"Feel" is in every pool shot in some way or another

There is plenty of "feel" when using CTE as a playing aid/system.
When you hit that exact 0, 15, 30, 45, 60 degree perception you can feel it in the stick...that shot is going in.
The whole purpose of CTE is to remove as much guesswork as possible before pulling the trigger and nothing more.
You're probably using it yourself for many, many, shots right now. You just don't know it and can't recognize it for what it is. It takes STUDY.
I'm stopping now before another "aiming argument" breaks out here in the main forum and I get beat up for posting in the wrong place.
Good luck with your pool shooting.

Do CTE players ever miss? Just wondering. The way some people talk about it, they should still be at the table, because they haven't missed yet.

Lou won't play a rotation game. CTE works just as well for one pocket as any other game. It's merely a way to aim. But as we saw with the match it doesn't matter if you aim perfect if you stroke like a weeble wobble in a tornado.

Of course they miss.....just not as much. They're still human beings. The idea is to reduce a big portion of the shot called "judgement, estimation, or guesswork".
Other factors enter into the shot. They may jump up, they may have misjudged the perception, they may twist the wrist, they may use too much speed, not enough speed, hit the cueball wrong, or any of the other dumb things a hacker does.
I'd like to see a pool shooting machine with a dead straight stroke to cueball that only required for the user to dial in the perception.
I'd bet it would never miss.
That would be quite a scientific experiment.
