Please Help. Any and all insights, recommendations, and picks will be appreciated.

If I win, I'll send $500 to Dr Dave to do research on a topic I will let the forum choose.

i tortured my friends with my picks for top 4 in the banks and one pocket down at the Mardi Gras Open few months back lol......

only places i got wrong was i said cliff would get 2nd and jeremy would get 3rd in the banks.....PHA!

i woul love to see Effren win it...again...but think it will be a hunt between himself, tony and alex.......Alex is playing very well right now...never count effren out tho obviously.

I like the long races...wish it were to 7 :)


lol i just realized....i took the time to make my letters all in a vertical row so you could see it easy......fail lol
 
there are a bunch of guys on this site in the same Pool. I'm sure it's better just to take guesses yourself for the pics. I'll be there all 4 days watching.

I don't think Fargo ratings claim to be applicable for 1P. Fargo would say that Tony and Danny Smith, for example, would both be significant underdogs to SVB in 9b or 10b (which I think most would agree with) but that's not transferable to 1P.

I would be curious to see what their program would do if you input data from the various 1P events where there is a known result. I would think Alex would be the top rated, although his poor showing at last years Make it Happen event might hurt him if the sample size is too small.

Thanks to all that advised me in this great challenge.

I got 6 Correct and 9 Wrong, 40%. Next time I will flip a coin, in fact Pat Fleming has recommended this.

Alex hurt me, Efren surprised me.
I actually always want Efren to win, I just never give him enough credit. He's like the Energizer Bunny. He won at Reds in 1985 and has been winning ever since, 31 years.

Oh Well, Sorry Dr Dave. Maybe next time.
