Different Style Tournament

I want to start a handicapped tournament that would not be a typical elimination style tournament.

I want a round robin style. ACS/BCA handicaps apply. Everyone plays everyone once. Scores are accumulated on a regular scale of 10 point game. Everyone has an equal chance. Player with the most points overall is the winner. See the example below:

Player A Handicap 8
Player B Handicap 5
Handicap awarded to player B=3 points.

Player A wins 10-7, player A receives 10 pts and player B receives 10 pts (7+3=10) as well.

Example 2:

Player B wins 10-6, player B receives 13pts and player A receives 6pts.

Now what is the drawback of this? I know length of tournament might come into play but what else?

When you hold one of these handicapped tournaments, Rio, what do you do about handicapped parking? I mean you can't very well stack one car upon another, can you?
I often wonder about shit like this. It's probably why I have such a small circle of friends. :)

The biggest drawback is collusion.
The second drawback is players quitting because they can no longer win....upsets the format.

Yes, kind of like what I said. You start stacking cars on top of each other and they begin to look as if they've been in a collusion. :)

Round Robins are Great if...

Round Robins are a great way to insure a lot of play for the money paid. The players get enough match time that they start playing better by the end.
