US Open 10-Ball & US Open 8-Ball

when does stream start today? Though it started 11 minutes ago but i keep getting a blank stream

I thought so too but I also think he was truly surprised. He had already taken his glove off wrote the match off as a loss.

Love the stream but honestly can't stand listening to George or the other guy that's not Jay Helfert.

The "other guy" is Freddie Agnir, an AZB member and veteran commentator. Many people (including me) like his commentary.

Thanks, I thought it was 10 cst so i been trying to view it at 11est.
Well in anycase shouldnt they be streaming yesterday's replay?

After the day is done, CSI replays all the matches of the day. The replay ends at 8:00am PST the following morning. There's no stream from 8:00am - 10:00am.

SVB beat Josh Roberts 9-6.

Van Boening -- 8 of 8 B&R's and a run-out on Robert's lone failed break. No errors.

Roberts -- 6 of 7 B&R's and a scratch on one break (on which he made 4 balls!). One error.

So, SVB is now 2 more wins from winning the event.

Well so much for that whole, "I like it on a barbox, more congested, makes it more challenging" tripe. 14 out of 15 racks are break & runs & the failed rack had 4 balls made & scratched & opponent runs out.

More congested? More challenging? Proof positive bar boxes should not be used. The guys are running like water.

Sounds like you don't understand relative proportions. A 9' table has approximately 40% more area than a 7' table. What would a 9' table play like if there were 40% more balls. Would the run outs look as easy as the 7'? Enhance your vision by understanding that the balls may be easier to pocket, but pinpoint position play is required which 99% of the population can't understand.

Five degrees of angle difference on a 9' table far less hurtful than five degrees on a 7' table.

15 run outs in 16 racks! Seems they're handling it without issue.

Well, that's sort of an extreme case. Overall, it's a lowly 53% so far for the streamed matches.

[And it ain't too far from that in 8-Ball for the top guys on 9-footers.]

Which is why that game on those tables should be relegated to those that plunder into Vegas every year for their APA outing.

It's not the game nor the tables for top level talent no matter how hard CSI tries to sell it.

I hear what you're saying, but the fact is that there are not 40% more balls on a 9' table. There are 10 balls in 10 ball, on a bar box or regulation size table.

Personally, I don't like to watch pro's playing rotation games on a bar table, and I can run 9 ball or 10 ball racks on a bar table with much more ease than I can on a 9 footer.
