I'll be in the Philly area most of this week. Staying around the Coatesville area. What are some places I should be checking out while in town??

The closest place to you is The Cue Factory in Thorndale. It has a mixture of Gold Crowns and Gandy's and also several 7' Valleys. It is generally pretty quiet there. A little further away in Phoenixville is Classic Billiards. It has 12 Gold Crowns, many recently recovered for the first annual Philly One Pocket Championship, a Diamond and 4 Gandy's. There is also a 10' snooker table and a Gabriels billiard table. This is a very large, wide open room with a great atmosphere. There is a daily special where you can play from noon to 5:00pm for $8.00.

Classic in Phonenixville for pool.
Best cheesesteaks on the planet are in Blue Bell, Pa........ PUDGES

DelFrisco's steakhouse or Sullivans Steakhouse same company owns them both. DelFriscos is in an old bank - like 30/40 foot ceiling - place is awesome and $$$$$, Sullivans is cheaper(around $45_$50 for the long bone dry aged ribeye I think) and wine is about half the price as DelFriscos

DelFriscos made famous(kinda) by the movie Law Abiding Citizen. However, you cannot get it delivered as the movie implies.

Just noticed you're from Chicago.......there's a Del Frisco's in Chicago

Geno's (not Pat's) for a cheesesteak.
Much respect but I'm a Pat's guy

Don't know of the first but Sullivan's is a chain ( we have one ) and I think it's that football guys lol. I try to stay away from chains but sounds like the first one may be one too???? Sorry I can't help much with Philly, Pitt would be a different story 😆

Chain or not, good stuff:thumbup:
The first is owned by the second

Sullivan's was my fave but seemed to be inconsistent. And restaurants are as good as their last meal. But maybe I'll try again. Capital Grill in KOP sucked last time I was there. Anyway... Show me the New York strip

Sullivan's is awesome there's one on 202 near de pa border I've been there many times never an issue and the football guy I think ur referring to is don shulman and I don't believe Sullivan's is a part of that chain but I may be wrong. As for cheesesteaks a Delaware county cheesy is better they chop the meat as far as pats/Genos I'll say pats but they're a novelty. My vote in Philly is jims n there's one right on south street. Lots of good stuff in Philly as far as pool u gotta check out drexeline n the spot(fuscos). Good luck message me for more info

Original location: Torresdale Ave and Benner St - Northeast Phila
2nd (newer): Frankford and Girard Avenues - Northern Liberties

Was that Chinks but got a lot of P.Corrective over the name. I do believe that is his nickname.

Anyway.... Pudges in Blue Bell against any place for a $1.00.

steaks

Chinks is on or was Torresdale Ave, they have great steaks, spent many hours in that place when Tacony Billiards was open for business.Frank next time I'm in the area I'll try Pudges and take you up on your bet.
