How 'bout put one once of effort in. From your other post: "as i haven't even been following it enough to know when it started or anything else about it ".

You aren't missing anything. All that is going on is the practice sessions, aka round robin stage, where all the already known players that will advance are getting some practice in versus people that shouldn't even be in a World Tournament.
Well I have put in effort because the webpage doesn't say much, facebook doesn't either

Since it's just practice as you say, this would probably be the cause of not finding much about anything on it
Excuse me? This is no different than any other tournament. It is NOT a world championship...they just decided to call it that, even though the powers that be say different. It is not an invitational event. You pay the entry, and you're allowed to play. Who are you to say who should be allowed to play, and who shouldn't?

upstateAL has said to use the azbtv channel on ustream for chat, but it has had very little so far.
This is probably the weakest field in a "world" 14.1 event I've ever seen. Probably 16 or less pro level 14.1 players in the field.
Its like wake me up when these round robin practice sessions are over. They think people are too much like cattle to notice :boring2:

I like the people on the chat who are knowledgeable there are quite a few and it is a good way to stay in touch.
Might not be what you like but for 15 bucks a day i wish it was available
