He died ten years ago?

Hey, be nice;) a few years ago a friend of mine told me that someone I gambled with(that I didn't like very much) died in a car accident a couple yrs before,,,, I felt bad, kinda, sorta,,,,! Actually, I'm a liar;) I didn't feel bad! The guy was an absolute douche bag! I felt bad bad for a few minutes though,,, he was easy money:)

Anyway, to the OP, if you knew him, my condolences!

But in all seriousness, I do remember a friend who I had a falling out with that had passed away from cancer 11 yrs ago. I remember finding out he was sick and because my heart told me I had to make things right, I tried! And I did. I am very lucky to be given that chance to make things right!!!

I'm fairly confident that there isn't anyone on here that knows me on a personal level. That being said, if you did know me, you would know that I had a major health scare some yrs ago. I'm extremely lucky to have pulled through!

The morning of my operation I had a chat with God. I told him I was sorry for some things I did and I that I wasn't sorry for other things that I knew he wouldn't forgive me for but like I told him, I'm being honest! I told him if he doest want to give me another chance, I would understand, but if he did give me a chance I would change!

Well, I woke up after the surgery and the docs told me it seemed like I was going to make a very good recovery! (In my opinion, it was the greatest recovery)

I have made one very important change in my life, and that is I have left all the BS people out! I have learned something, there are people out there that are all for themselves, that will use you for what they can get out of you.

I have learned to accept this as part of life and not try to understand it. It's life! But also, I have learned to keep these people away from me! I have learned to keep those who I trust close, and those that I don't I keep them far away! I have become good at ignoring the idiots and losers in life! It may sound "mean" but it is honesty at its truest form!

I've you've ever done someone wrong, make peace with them as soon as you can! You never what's going to happen 2 minutes from know! A friend of mine lost his son from a brain aneurysm, he was talking to us and in a blink of an eye, he was GONE! I've experienced death a few times in my life, but that was the worst because of the suddeness!

Life is too short to be worried about people that don't deserve to have your trust and love! Don't wast your time on people that don't care or that try to hurt you. It's not worth it!

Remember, stay STRONG, stay TRUE, and NEVER EVER GIVE UP!

Who is Alden Toy?

Hello everybody....Alden Toy (Early 70's) was an Asian man from China who grew up in New York in his early years and has lived probably his last 25 years in Albuquerque New Mexico. He was a very good all around pool player, but especially great One Pocket player. He had a lot of gamble in him and got into action as much as he could. My last match up with him was about a year ago at Doc n Eddy's in Albuquerque, where he ended up about 3 racks up. He was fun to watch, but tough to play, since he was known as one of the (slowest) players in our city. LOL.... He told me he did some road playing in the 70s/80s where he actually matched up with Earl Strickland several times, when Earl was a teenager and beat him, along with some other up and coming pro players in the 70's. He was very knowledgeable about all the games and was able to help out some of us players with our games when we stated to play serious in the the early 2000's.

This is kind of general and please feel free to add, if anyone else knows more detailed info about Alden.

RIP....Alden
