This isn't cue related, but I'm looking for someone who can make small quantities (50, 100, 200) of this part out of clear acrylic. Please let me know if interested or if you can hook me up with someone who could help.

Thanks,
Steve

My shop can, probably cheaper than usual because oil has been so bad and machine shops are hurting and closing down

Pm sent

Yikes that's thin wall for plastics 2mm, I worked in a plastics machine shop for 2yrs

Just about any cuemaker could make that part for you on their CNC set up. It looks like there might not be any tool change needed so it would be simple for one of the CNC guys who has the time to do it.

Are you expecting the acrylic to be clear and transparent after the piece is milled? I've never milled acrylic, but I wouldn't expect it to be "pretty" once finished.
My 2 cents,
Gary

Looks like fun.

most important question of all......what are the tolerances? There's a million guys who can do this fast and cheap but only a handful who can do them tight and with a nice surface finish. Those guys will probably easily be 4x the price and take way longer. Especially since heat = distortion in acrylic

+/- 0.1mm, moderate surface mill marks OK, no heat treating
