Mosconi Cup Gifs

Yes, the cue ball drifted badly but it was still a bad shot from Rodney. The cue ball had no business down that rail. Awful pace from a lousy player.

Yeah he's lousy, just smoked Shaw. Must've been luck huh?

You should watch more of Darren's matches. He gets pretty emotional when he wins... Tosses cues, jumps up on tables, etc. He's fun to watch.

Someone needs to do a gif of Rodney's impersonation of Darren just now. ROFLMAO! Nice cue toss

Did I really see Darren Appleton toss his cue on the floor? If so, I have never seen a pool player toss his cue when happy.

I bet you didn't see what he did with it when he won the World Games then! :grin-square:

Go check it out!

Funny stuff.

There was also a back underneath bank by one of the Euros that, when it came off the short rail, every 1pocket player in the country went, "Naw, missed it short." And yet... it caught the far outside of the corner pocket and got sucked in.

I know what shot your talking about, I believe it was Ouschan. I remember seeing it roll down the table thinking, "yes we've got this rack." Only to see the Hoover turned on and the ball sucked down. The US still needs to break and play safe better. Hopefully the table will tighten up a bit too.

Right, that was it. Even when they did the replay it looked wide as it passed the side pocket.

You Have To Play Good Enough To Get Lucky..

That wasn't luck. Best case scenario, maybe, but not lucky. A well executed educated guess. You have to aim for that side of the three ball, it is the only safe side to hit. I think he delivered the cue ball almost exactly where he intended to. You could argue that the reaction off of the rail and the reaction off of the pocket face seemed fortunate, but we've seen during the whole event that is what the table was offering, and I see balls goin all the time in that manner at that angle on diamond tables.

I Don't Think Its Luck.. When People Say He Got Lucky, Well He Had To Get The Cue Ball In The Right Area To Even Hit The 3. Judged It Well
